White Peak’s unique in-house approach provides independence, control and flexibility. We leverage strong internal development capabilities throughout the investment lifecycle – from land acquisition and development to sales/exit.

Our low gearing ratio and limited bank debt means debt providers have limited influence on our business decisions – allowing us to ensure the highest standards of quality at every step. Our head office in Beijing leads and supervises the business, relying on local offices for execution and operational expertise.

Development platform

White Peak’s standardised in-house development system has been established and proven over the last eight years. From our head office, our experienced management team leads and supervises the development process, and also strictly controls all legal and financial processes. Centralised procurement facilitates transparent purchasing processes, and also contributes towards greater economies of scale.

Our local teams are responsible for timing, execution, quality and cost control. They work closely with our design and product team to ensure that developments are sensitive to and exceed local market expectations.

World-class governance

Introducing a unique Western perspective and management processes to the cities where we operate, White Peak emphasises the highest international standards of governance in our business and operations.

Internally, we rely on our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for payment and contract management. White Peak’s internal audit department verifies the completeness and accuracy of all reporting systems, while local finance and legal departments report directly to our headquarters in Beijing.

We have also established a number of external controls, including certification of fund reporting by KPMG, health & safety audits by Bureau Veritas, financial audits by PwC, and regular review of our fund and corporate administration services by Sanne.

Our knowledge partners include White & Case on legal matters, and our appraiser CBRE. In addition, White Peak is a member of ANREV, the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark and Preqin.
